How was your New Year? Well we splashed out and enjoyed a dinner cruise aboard the Moonshadow Cruise on the waters of Port Stephens and watched the fireworks over Nelson Bay NSW.  Fantastic!

Yes, I am back into action after some great time out and the New Year is on the move already.

Money is on the move and what’s happening to our Money?

To start, you know that European debt crisis has not gone away, just quiet for now.

The Debt Clock shows us that both Greece and Italy are well over 100% Public Debt as a percentage of GDP (Gross Domestic Product) so how the heck can they even meet their interest payments.

Oh, some may still think Germany or France will save them; hey Germany is at 75% and France at 82%. In summary right now, Europe’s combined Debt to GDP is at 148%… So they owe roughly 50% more than they produce.

Bye bye Euro, you see that’s why the US dollar looks stronger because all the Euro money is running scared to a safe haven and the
tradition is chosen, the US Dollar.

The US had been running at……. 61% with the personal US debt Clock now showing over 15 trillion dollars in debt and 15 trillion dollars in GDP that is at 100%. The US policy prints more money watch the debt increase. Wow then everybody will realise that the US dollar is not a safe haven but actually broke too.

What next, we have all the Euro money, US money and all other countries money (that is money that can be moved) wanting to run to a
safe haven before collapse of their currencies.

Hmm what currency can be chosen, none, all major currencies of the world are all fiat money?  (here is a great description of fiat money)

So there is only one place to go, back to a standard that has always been in place thru history, always has and always will work. Yes Gold. It is the real money, especially when currencies fail.

Food Barcodes can be confusing on where a product is made or processed and we need to learn more to know about barcodes when shopping because……… you may be poisoning yourself and your family through from food you buy.

Below you will find extremely informative and why to use the barcodes and why to use nutrition supplementation.

Do you know about the dangerous imported foods from China. Hey China is excellent on electrical goods, clothes etc but food watch out. Did you know that there are no food inspection regulations of foods grown or processed in China, Vietnam, Hong Kong or Thailand?

Many world countries are scared of China making ‘black hearted goods, but can you differentiate which one is made in Australia, the USA, Philippines, Taiwan, China etc To help, the first 3 digits of the barcode is the country code indicating where the product was made.

For example: all barcodes that start with 690, 691 through to 695 are all made in China.

Nowadays, Chinese businessmen know that consumers do not prefer products made in china, so they don’t show from which country it is made.

For example, a loophole in international trade agreements is allowing China to get vegetables into Australian supermarkets while avoiding chemical testing.

Cheap inferior toxic products that would be turned away at our border are coming in through a back door. Foreign products disguised in Kiwi wrapping. Investigation tracked the raw products to factories in NZ where they were processed, repackaged and exported. Now branded with the trusty made in New Zealand label and exported for us to eat.

Another example is that Highliner brand fish products all come from China, even though the box says product of Canada, it is from China and processed in Canada, that is, only the coating is added and packaged in Canada. The fish are raised in pens using chemicals that are banned in Canada as cancer causing but legal in China. This was exposed on CBC TV’s  ‘Marketplace’.

However, you may now refer to the barcode. If the first 3 digits are 690 through to 695, then it is made in China. Remember, Hong Kong is now China, too. A complete list of Barcodes can be looked up.

Recommended not to by food processed in China, Hong Kong, Vietnam or Thailand. Remember, there are no food inspection regulations.

Avoid buying all processed food packaged in China as anything goes! We just don’t know what else is in those packages. Unlike many countries including the United States, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain; China does not have laws regulating food processing.
