Happy New Year 2012

How was your New Year? Well we splashed out and enjoyed a dinner cruise aboard the Moonshadow Cruise on the waters of Port Stephens and watched the fireworks over Nelson Bay NSW.  Fantastic!

Yes, I am back into action after some great time out and the New Year is on the move already.

The bad news being that time flies however the good news is that you’re the pilot. So we need to be active on our decisions and directions for a prosperous and happy 2012.

Australian Sharemarket and good news!

Australia is in a good starting position. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that recent global financial market volatility has increased uncertainty over Australia’s near-term economic outlook, but it starts from an “enviable position”.

The Australian sharemarket has posted its best week this week of gains in over a year as hopes emerges of an end to the eurozone debt crisis.

Also in more reassuring news, a decision is nearing whether Europe will expand the EFSF (European Financial Stability Fund) to €440bn ($438bn). However will the European Financially Stability Fund really work by  just expanding more debt?
